About Us

In today's competitive markets of Cocoa Trade, Development and Agriculture, Trinitario Coastal Enterprises (TCE) works consistently at improving Trinidad's strength in these industry sectors. Here at TCE we have adopted a simple philosophy of "people first" in all our business models and practices.

TRINITARIO COASTAL ENTERPRISES, LTD. is a tightly held Limited Liability Corporation and Social Enterprise founded in Port of Spain, Trinidad, in August 2019 by European Recording Artist and Music Producer Markus Mann, a Trinidadian-born native. The company serves as an enterprising branch of its Europe based parent company THE MARKUS MANN COMPANY while functioning as a mother company to a series of community-based initiatives each with their respective specialization(s) and social missions. TCE is also a Social Enterprise, making all employees, farmers and collaborators shareholders of parts of the TCE network. Our primary aim is the sustainable revitalization of the Matelot area and its inhabitants without damaging the natural elements that make this area so appealing and culturally rich.

The primary business driving TCE is the acquisition of land leases throughout Trinidad & Tobago (primarily in the Toco to Matelot regions of the country), the development of those properties with the introduction of Eco-Tourism to these regions, and most notably the production and distribution of cocoa and ancillary cocoa products for exportation to foreign markets (namely in mainland Europe, Asia and certain parts of the Americas).

TCE's missions include introducing green land development techniques and green commercial buildings, ecologically sound hotels and tourist visitation centers, green restaurants on the cocoa grounds, all built in a green or "off the grid" manner keeping carbon footprints low while increasing the production and development potentials of this beautiful region of the country. Through its activities TCE shows our strong commitment to many of the Sustainable Development Goals outlined by the UN.

We also have plans for the installation of a land and sea life conservation research facility to be built, inviting the world's leading researchers to have a residence with a privately funded conservation project ensuring ecologically safe and responsible farming practices and working towards the preservation of the lands and waterways around any active TCE sites. Additional plans include providing free training and financial aid to  rural farmers and inhabitants of these seaside villages in an effort to help them master green agricultural techniques. We will also be providing civil engineering improvements and upgrades to local roadways and bridges, and much needed housing renovations for many of the  local inhabitants.

TCE's Social Enterprise infrastructure drives sustainable growth for local inhabitants of the Toco and Matelot regions (as we grow, they grow), thus empowering an often overlooked portion of Trinidad, helping these rural communities to become leaders in green agricultural and development solutions and Eco-Tourism innovations.
